Our Research Software Tools
The Exo-Restart team has developed two powerful, open-source software packages designed to advance astronomical research. Both tools were created and are maintained by Dr. Trifon Trifonov and colleagues, combining computational efficiency with user-friendly interfaces to serve the global astronomical community.
The Exo-Striker is a comprehensive toolkit for exoplanet research, enabling detailed orbital analysis of transit, radial velocity, and astrometric data. Originally developed to streamline the detection and characterization of planetary systems, it has become an essential tool for researchers worldwide working on multi-planet system dynamics and stability analysis.
QSO-Striker, derived from the Exo-Striker framework, extends these capabilities to quasar light-curve analysis. This specialized tool brings the same robust statistical modeling and interactive visualization features to the study of quasar variability, demonstrating the versatility of the underlying computational approach.
Both tools are freely available, cross-platform compatible, and actively maintained, reflecting our commitment to open science and collaborative research in astrophysics.
